What if you could know exactly who visits your site... without Google keeping that data? 🤔
When I launched my personal tech brand site I needed analytics. The obvious choice was Google Analytics — but it means third-party cookies, confusing reports, and handing your data to Google for free.
I installed 𝗨𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗶 on my own VPS in under 30 minutes. Docker, nginx, done 🚀
What I gained:
🔥 𝟭𝟬𝟬% 𝗺𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 — nobody else touches it
💻 𝗡𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱-𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗲𝘀 — GDPR native, no annoying banners
⚡ 𝟮𝗞𝗯 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁 — doesn't hurt site performance
📊 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 — what you need, without the noise
Google Analytics is powerful. But if you already control your infrastructure, why not control your metrics too?
